Black children are being shut out of the educational system in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. We need your help!
Patricia Morris is in the fight of her life. In federal court, she has managed to prove that the Tangipahoa Parish School Board has only 6 integrated schools of 38, and that the board has managed to exclude black children from the mix.
Won't you please help today?

It is because of this struggle, that Patricia, who has 3 college degrees cannot get a job in Tangipahoa Parish. She has relied on the kindness of others to maintain a meager existence since 2004 as she continues to battle the board in federal court.
SHE'S WINNING! Please help us educate the black children and poor white children in this parish. There are 44 other deseg cases in Louisiana that are monitoring this case.
"She's got the backbone of 3 men," said a former school board member.
Now, we are this close to the finish line, and her bills are over due. We need your help to continue this battle. Please help Patricia by donating a few dollars to help her pay bills. Please also learn more about the deseg case by visiting:
